These cubes are a part of a mad scientist machinery, that was supposed to influence time fate of those, who use it. Unfortunately for the scientist, the matter of the machine warped in the process, leaving behing only those cubes with the machine carved in them. The machine still works in the dice, ensuring the paint doesn't wear off and altering the fate of those who use it.

One of the best Q-Workshop has done Feb 07, 2010

Howdy again!
Let me give you a little background. I have been gaming since 1982, so needless to say I have had many sets of dice in my gaming career. And I will admit it...I DO have a problem being a little obsessive compulsive with my dice. I've been known to drop close to $100 every year at a certain RPG con in Indianapolis every year.
It has taken me some time, but I've finally realized that my favorite genre of them all is Steampunk. So when I found that Q-Workshop had some Steampunk themed dice...well they had to be mine.
The company does good work. I've never had any problem with the quality of the dice as far as the material they are made from. But some of their sets are very difficult to read (and that is being nice). The Steampunk set? I have no difficulty at all. They have to be the easiest to read out of all the company has created so far. I definately intend to purchase at least another set and some singles at the con mentioned earlier. I highly recommend they!

Nice, but etching and inking is a little uneven May 19, 2012

This is a really cool dice theme, and the dice feel very nice to roll. My only complaint is that the etching and inking is uneven in some places on some of the dice. The D20, in particular, which has the smallest faces and one of the most involved designs, has the most uneven detailing.

Overall these are a lot of fun and seem to roll reasonably fairly. I would (and might) buy again, but for the price and materials they really ought to be more careful with the manufacturing.

Love these dice! I'm a big steampunk fan and the art on these is really well done. They're my favorite dice -- and I have a LOT of dice.
