Using for Fabric Storage Works Great Dec 06, 2010
By Natalie I am a quilter and I keep fabric on hand in my 'stash' for the different projects I work on. I recently saw a blog of another quilter who used these boards for her fabric storage and felt it would be a perfect solution for me as well. I have deep storage drawers and depending on how I folded my fabric I either couldn't see the bottom layer of my fabric, it would fall over, or it was difficult to get out. I bought a couple of packages of comic book boards to try and they worked so well for my purpose that I bought several more packages. The stiffness of these boards makes an excellent core to wrap my fabric around and pin and the consistent width is a great guide for how wide to fold my fabric. I can then store my fabric in stacks or storage drawers without worrying about them falling over. The stiffness makes it easier to pull fabrics and put them away too. I know this is an unusual use for this product but I highly recommend it for others seeking to store fabric!

Fabric stash organizer! Jun 23, 2011
By kimberleena Like the other reviewers, I bought these to get some control of my out of hand, unorganized explosion of fabric. They work great for large cuts of fabric, and now my fabric looks so pretty and organized on their little mini bolts!
Didn't work so well with fat quarters, though--I'll just keep those folded up with no boards.

Quilter's Use Mar 31, 2011
By sbertine I use these boards for folding fabrics in my quilt stash. I can make a note of the yardage on the board, fold the fabric around it and then either stack it on the shelf or stand it up. I was able to fit almost three hundred yards of fabric on two shelves, neatly and easily accessible.

Sturdy and good for fabric Jan 09, 2012
By M. Kerwin I use these to wrap fabric around for easy storage in baskets and on shelves. They serve their purpose well. Initially I cut squares out of cardboard at home, but for this low price it was easier and quicker to just buy these and use them. They don't bend easily, they're (obviously) reusable and they've cleaned up my sewing area, which is exactly what I needed.
